Teaching Bilingual strives to equip the ELL (English Language Learner) student by using meaningful, research based and fun hands-on activities to emphasize literacy and to promote academic achievement in one world with two languages.

Our Vision

The vision of Teaching Bilingual is to educate, support, and promote the importance of bilingual education and its best practices within the classroom, and to help achieve the academic objectives in a fun and meaningful way. Our efforts are focused on helping the teachers and parents achieve those objectives, starting at the primary grade levels (Pre-k through 1^st grade), creating literacy and academic language as early as possible to allow these students to transfer those skills and knowledge into English as a second language.

 Our Beginning

Teaching Bilingual was born due to the need to produce age-appropriate and research-based educational materials for ELL students. Even though bilingual materials are emerging in the market; the reality is that teacher supply stores and online stores have few of these materials. Teachers spend hours of their personal time creating, cutting, and pasting to adapt English-made materials to help the students to achieve their goals. Therefore, the need for creating ready-to-use materials for the classroom is crucial to us because it allows us teachers to spend more quality time on planning for instruction.
